ROBIN ALEXANDER LUCAS read Modern History at the University of Oxford, and is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He has worked extensively in various fields of history and historical objects for over thirty years, and is the former Head of Arms and Armour at Bonhams Oxford. He has written five books on medieval to eighteenth-century music, this is his sixth book and his first book on archery.
