MAP OF WITTENHAM CLUMPS

This map shows lots of archaeological and historical features, including everything from coins, pottery and burials, to ancient settlements and crop marks. Practical features such as footpaths, field and parish boundaries are also included, as well as springs, rivers and wooded areas.

It also includes his poem about an ancient treasure, buried, according to local legend, after a great battle long ago. It is said that the treasure has been guarded by a raven ever since…and this poem tells how that might have come to be.
